THE STARTING POINT
Original topographic map used as the reference for this terrain demo

How did this become a landscape?

The 3D surface interprets the visible hills, ridges, and central valley. The photo supplies the map texture. Heights and distances are invented for this demo; this is not a surveyed reconstruction.

One finger turns the model. Two fingers zoom. Use the height slider to move between paper and terrain. Save 3D downloads a textured GLB model at the selected height.

Street View starts at the center with your current terrain settings. Drag to look around and hold the walk button to move. Exit, change the terrain, then enter again to explore the new shape.
